Established in 1994, Southwest Handling is a prominent Merlo franchised dealer of Agricultural & Construction equipment throughout Devon and West Somerset.

With vast experience and knowledge of the Merlo brand, and parts & servicing business, we have been awarded Merlo UK Gold Standard dealers again in 2022 and Merlo UK parts dealer of the year 2021.
We provide new & used machinery to a wide range of sectors including agriculture, industry, forestry and groundscare and stock machinery from brands such as; Merlo, Cast Loaders, Corvus UTV and Strimech Attachments for all makes of telehandlers/loaders.
Tom and Jo Banbury purchased the business in April 2021 with the ambition to build on a highly successful business and continue to build on a terrific partnership with Merlo UK taking Merlo and Southwest Handling Limited into a bright future.
Over the last 35 years we have gained vast experience with the service and repair of the leading manufactureres of Tractors, Farm machinery, attachments, and equipment you have on your farm.
Southwest Handling are specialists in servicing of all models in the Merlo Range and we have recently been awarded GOLD MEDAL standard by Merlo UK, one of only a few dealers in the whole country. All of our engineers complete regular training on the latest machinery and repair techniques ensuring that we offer an impeccable level of sales and after sales service across our business.
